Her eyes peer deep into your mind, delivering a helpless: “No!”. Chilling truly, the bruises and bloodied neck only add to the tension. The falling feathers figuratively connote opened scars, as time from a young life is slowly extinguished…
Horrifying! This piece is very creative, as the artist expressed her inspiration came after she finished her food. Primaeval in a sense, almost borderlines human instinct. That dark stare of pride fills one with a feeling of helplessness against the beastly actions being portrayed. I love it.
